Calcium Malate Chelate 250 mg - 120 capsules

This product provides di-calcium malate, which is calcium bound to malic acid for excellent absorption in the body. Malic acid is a naturally occurring compound found in apples and other fruits and vegetables; it helps to support energy production by playing a role in the process of deriving adenosine triphosphate (ATP; the energy currency that runs the body) from food.

The di-calcium malate in the product is a patented form of calcium which is comprised of two moles of calcium attached to one mole of malic acid.  This form of calcium contains a high amount of elemental calcium, and with the presence of malic acid, it also supports the Krebs and glyoxylate energy producing cycles. Calcium Malate is highly bioavailable, and does not cause the formation of gas in the presence of stomach acid.

The recommended dosage of two capsules yields 500 mg of elemental calcium along with 100 IU of vitamin D.
